It 18 thought that this little list will be of value to clergymen, theological seminaries and Christian workers generally. In attempting to give to each student a list that will not only help him to understand his own de nomination better, but will guide him to the best that has been written about other denominations, my underly ing purpose has been to contribute something to church union, and still more to Christian unity.
