DOWNLOAD EBOOKExcerpt from A Chronological Record of the Principal Events: That Have Occurred in Amesbury, Massachusetts From the Organization of the Township of Merrimac in 1638 to 1900 The object of this little book is to give a record of the principal events that have occurred in Amesbury from the organization of Salisbury, - of which Amesbury was once a part, - to the present time; reference being made to Salisbury and Merrimac only as they are or have been connected with Amesbury. The writer has tried to so arrange and condense the material that the book may be used easily for reference, and from its price be accessible to all. Town and church records have been carefully read in connection with Mr. Merrill's History until 1880, after which time, files of newspapers and records of various kinds have been used. The thanks of the writer are given to the many who have assisted her. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
