Off the coast of Perú, gentle giants swim beneath the waves. Thanks to the work of Kerstin Forsberg, giant manta rays have become a symbol of hope for ocean conservation in the region. Mantas are a flagship species, and when they’re protected, the whole ocean ecosystem benefits. Kerstin, who founded the organization Planeta Océano, has taken a new approach to ocean conservation. Previous conservation projects were often led by scientists from other places who didn’t work with the local people. When Kerstin decided to help manta rays, she sought the opinions of local fishers and educated them about the dangers of overfishing, bycatch, and poaching—things that affect both manta rays and fishers. She also involved local schools and teachers. With the help of teachers, students, and fishers, Kerstin launched a project to identify and track manta rays and protect them, making the ocean a better place for all creatures. Dive in with author Patricia Newman and explore how taking care of the ocean can benefit everyone!
Gifted, list-making teen Jacob joins Ray, a PR-exec and wannabe Shaman with a mysterious past on a road trip of truly Biblical proportions that ends in Hope - the one in Maine, not the Rambo film one! Ray, the hopelessly likeable title character, picks up a collection of oddities, including the gifted boy, a stuffed bear, some kind of Israeli military pin with another man's name on it and a basket-bearing hitchhiker as he travels across the US in search of the boy's father... or perhaps something else altogether.

An answer to prayer, CeCe's new grandparents help keep the family rooted in Christ and give them needed reality checks. With all that life throws at CeCe, will she find a ray of hope?
Today I am writing about my book. I hope I don’t give myself too much credit, forgetting God who is the true author of my book and the captain of my ship. I thank God because He literally saved my life. And I dedicate this book to Him. After I reread my book I realized that it wasn’t all my words but God speaking through me. I hope you will enjoy reading my book and pray for me that I will be the writer that He will be proud of.

All students have access to social and general education resources, and schools strive to place students, including those with special needs, in the least restrictive classrooms. However, many instructors lack the training to effectively teach special needs students, despite their presence in mainstream schools and a desire to support them. A study conducted at the Asha Deep Rehabilitation Centre for Divyangjan in Patna explored special education facilities. It examined the center’s history, vision, mission, goals, curriculum, co-curricular activities, life skills training, vocational training, outcomes, and the admission and retention of children. Additionally, the book includes information on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, of 2016, the RPWD Rules of 2017, and the Amendment Rules of 2019, 2020, and 2023, highlighting India's legal rights for the disabled.
What you are about to read is testimony from a family and a testament to family. Ray of Hope: A Family Remembers is about family, hope, and, at its heart, a love story between mother and son. After Kathie¿s son Raymond, the middle of five children, died of melanoma cancer at the age of thirty-six, she was devastated. Shortly after, Ray began communicating with her through automatic handwriting¿an uneasy transition for some but a natural one for Kathie, a seasoned teacher of meditation and metaphysics. Through his automatic handwriting, Ray often spoke of his joyous life on ¿the other side¿¿studying, traveling many universes, using his ability to be in multiple places simultaneously¿but mostly he spoke of his love of and communication with his family. Ray of Hope: A Family Remembers is also about a parent and a family coping with the loss of a loved one and their unique way of grieving, according to their belief systems and support networks. Ray¿s hopeful message that life continues after death encourages us to know, appreciate, and celebrate family. Because life transcends our existence in this world and extends beyond our senses, we can continue to connect, communicate, and carry on our relationships. And, as Ray says, ¿It is wonderful!¿
