DOWNLOAD EBOOKThe story of The Magical Owls is about ten little mice who were in search of these Magical Owls to ask them for help to cool off their dry dessert land. These Magical Owls had the power to bring water, or ice with them. In the process of asking for help the Magical Owls both decided to eat them instead. Then a long and hard chase started. The ten mice separated, five went East in search of the Ice Owl, and the remaining five traveled West for the Snow Owl. The chase continued for days with both owls chasing the mice, they hid under rocks, logs, anything possible to escape the great owls powerful claws. The two groups headed towards each other to escape the owls. Until finally the two owls coming in from an attack speed from both directions crashed into each other causing a big thunderstorm with hail, lightning, and cool wind. This crash saved the land, but it also injured one owl. Days later the mountain lion and a wolf tracked down the owl and they brought the owl back with them without eating him, and the little mice who feared the attacking owls decided to help and repair the wing. After the mice repaired the owl the owl promised to fly by once a year to give water, and snow to cool off the dry hot lands.

DOWNLOAD EBOOK"I Dreamed of Owl. That Means Wizardry is Near." Tristen is a weapon in an ancient war between wizardry and sorcery. He is a summoning and a shaping, brought to life by a wizard. And his sword is a weapon as well. Its keen blade, marked Illusion on one side and Truth on the other, once helped Tristen win the throne of Ylesuin for the young king Cefwyn, gaining Tristen the stewardship of the brave country of Amefel. Tristen's rule in Amefel is blessed with two extraordinary friends: one a stalwart and simple warrior, the other a young rebel with royal blood. But the scarlet banners of war are unfolding again, and far more than a kingdom is at stake. Now Tristen must take up the sword--as well as the Sihhë magic he has forsworn. He is destiny's own, created a combatant in a far older and more fearsome conflict than any ever imagined by mere mortal man. And he is about to do battle once more. . . . Rich with magic, intrigue, and adventure, this high fantasy series from the acclaimed C. J. Cherryh brings to life an enchanting world as real as, yet far more wondrous, than our own.

DOWNLOAD EBOOK'Dusk is filling the valley. It is the time of the gloaming, the owl-light. Out in the wood, the resident tawny has started calling, Hoo-hoo-hoo-h-o-o-o.' There is something about owls. They feature in every major culture from the Stone Age onwards. They are creatures of the night, and thus of magic. They are the birds of ill-tidings, the avian messengers from the Other Side. But owls - with the sapient flatness of their faces, their big, round eyes, their paternal expressions - are also reassuringly familiar. We see them as wise, like Athena's owl, and loyal, like Hedwig. Human-like, in other words. No other species has so captivated us. In The Secret Life of the Owl, John Lewis-Stempel explores the legends and history of the owl. And in vivid, lyrical prose, he celebrates all the realities of this magnificent creature, whose natural powers are as fantastic as any myth.
