Edward Stevenson (1820-1897), of English lineage, was born at Gilbraltar and immigrated (with his parents and their family) from Gilbraltar to Albany, New York, later moving to land near Pontiac, Michigan. Edward became a Mormon convert, moved to Illinois, and then to Salt Lake City, Utah. Descendants lived in Utah and elsewhere.
