DOWNLOAD EBOOKThis work presents a search for the pair production of doubly-charged Higgs bosons in the process p{bar p} 2!H++H-- 2![mu]+[mu]+[mu]-[mu]- using the data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of about 1.1 fb-1. This is the complete dataset of RunIIa taken from April 19, 2002 to February 22, 2006 by the D0 experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. In the absence of significant excess above standard model background, 95% confidence level mass limits of M(H$±±\atop{L}$)> 150 GeV and M(H$±±\atop{R}$)> 126.5 GeV are set for left-handed and right-handed doubly-charged Higgs bosons respectively assuming a 100% branching ratio into muons.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKThis work presents a search for the pair production of doubly-charged Higgs Bosons in the process p$ar{p}$ → H++H-- → ?+?+?-?- using inclusive dimuon events. These data correspond to an integrated luminosity of about 113 pb 1 and were recorded by the D0 experiment between August 2002 and June 2003. In the absence of a signal, 95% confidence level mass limits of M(H$±±top{L}$) > 118.6 GeV/c2 and M(HR±±) > 98.1 GeV/c2 are set for left-handed and right-handed doubly-charged Higgs boson, assuming 100% branching into muons and hypercharge.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKWe present a search for associated Higgs boson production in the process p{anti p} → W/ZH → l{sup {+-}} l{sup {+-}} + X in ee, e[mu], and [mu][mu] final states. The search is based on data collected by the D0 experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider at √{ovr s} = 1.96 TeV corresponding to 5.3 fb−1 of integrated luminosity. We require two isolated leptons (electrons or muons) with the same electric charge and additional kinematic requirements. No significant excess above background is observed, and we set 95% C.L. observed (expected) upper limits on ratio of the production cross sectin to the standard model expectation of 6.4 (7.3) for a Higgs boson mass of 165 GeV and 13.5 (19.8) for a mass of 115 GeV.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKIn this study, a search is reported for Higgs boson decay to ?+?- using data with an integrated luminosity of 24.8 fb-1 collected with the ATLAS detector in pp collisions at √s = 7 and 8 TeV at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. The observed dimuon invariant mass distribution is consistent with the Standard Model background-only hypothesis in the 120–150 GeV search range. For a Higgs boson with a mass of 125.5 GeV, the observed (expected) upper limit at the 95% confidence level is 7.0 (7.2) times the Standard Model expectation. This corresponds to an upper limit on the branching ratio BR(H→?+?-) of 1.5×10-3.
