Two searches for the production of Higgs bosons decaying into [tau] and [mu] leptons, using data collected with the DØ detector at the Fermilab Tevatron p$\bar{p}$ collider, are presented. A search for the pair production of doubly charged Higgs bosons in the process q$\bar{q}$ 2!H++H--, where H ±± decays to [tau][tau], [mu][mu] or [tau][mu] lepton pairs, with an integrated luminosity of up to L = 7:0 fb-1, is presented. No signi cant excess of data over the expected SM background is observed and the results are used to set 95% C.L. limits on the pair production cross section of doubly charged Higgs bosons in the range 90

Zusammenfassung: Searches for charged Higgs bosons decaying to a tau lepton and a neutrino in fully hadronic final states are presented in this thesis. The analyses are based on 4.6fb^-1 and 19.5fb^-1 of proton-proton collision data taken with the ATLAS detector at the LHC at center-of-mass energies of 7TeV and 8TeV in 2011 and 2012, respectively.Charged Higgs bosons with masses less than the top quark mass are searched for in events consistent with top-quark pair production and charged Higgs bosons with masses greater than the top quark mass are searched for in associated production with a top quark. In the search based on data taken in 2011, all background contributions are estimated in data-driven ways. Only a minor background contribution is estimated using simulation in the searches based on data taken in 2012; all dominant background contributions are estimated using data-driven methods here as well. An embedding method is used in all searches to assess the dominant and irreducible background contributions containing true hadronically decaying tau leptons and described in detail in this thesis. No significant excess of the data compared to the background expectations due to Standard Model processes is observed. Statistical analyses lead to 95% confidence-level upper limits on the branching ratios B(t->bH^±)xB(H^±->tau^± nu) between 0.23% and 1.3% for charged Higgs boson masses between 80GeV and 160GeV and on the production cross section times branching ratio, sigma(pp->tH^±+X)xB(H^±->tau^± nu) ranging from 0.76pb to 4.5fb for charged Higgs boson masses between 180GeV and 1000GeV. The branching ratio and cross section limits are used to derive constraints on the parameter space of minimal supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model in various benchmark scenarios. These limits are the so far strictest limits set by the ATLAS collaboration in the search for charged Higgs bosons in fully hadronic final states

Since the discovery of the Higgs boson at a mass around 125 GeV by both ATLAS and CMS collaborations in July 2012, it became crucial to measure its properties, such as its couplings to other particles, and search for any deviations from the Standard Model (SM) predictions. The top quark Yukawa coupling is close to unity and the strongest in the fermionic sector. Therefore, this coupling plays a crucial role in the theory. Determination of the associated production of The Higgs boson production with a pair of top quarks (ttH) offers a tree-level access to measuring this coupling. The analysis of ttH production at ATLAS experiment exploits several Higgs decay channel, together with different top quark decay modes. In this thesis, the study of the ttH (H → Multi lepton) process is presented in the topology where the Higgs decays to WW,ZZ or tautau, using a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 79.8fb^-1 at √s = 13 TeV, collected with the ATLAS detector between 2015-2017. Improved knowledge on the background modelling and the complex fit model is used with many degrees of freedoms. Particularly different fit setups are presented in order to understand the modelling of the major irreducible background, ttW. Furthermore, a search for the SM Higgs boson pair production in the multi lepton final states is presented. The search uses 139fb^-1 of proton-proton collisions data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV provided by the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and recorded by the ATLAS experiment in 2015 and 2018. The first studies in two lepton same-sign channel is performed for lepton working point optimisation and estimation of background contributions. Template fit method is applied to estimated the reducible backgrounds and preliminary expected upper limit is calculated.
