Dr. William C. Roberts. VI. That opportunity be given for voluntary speeches, limited to five minutes, on each of the above topics. VII. That the Rev. Dr. R. H. Allen be afforded an opportunity, on Wednesday morning, to speak, for fifteen minutes, in relation to the Freedmen. VIII. That the Rev. W. E. Honeyman be heard, for fifteen minutes, at the convenience of Synod, on the Chinese question. The report was accepted and adopted. Synod then adjourned until 9 o'clock on Wednesday morning.
