J., October, 1910; With an Appendix The Synod of New Jersey met in the First Church, Lakewood, on Monday, October 17th, 1910, at 8.00 o'clock P. M. After devotional services, the sermon opening Synod was delivered by the Moderator, Rev. C. Rudolph Kuebler, D.D., from I Cor. 1: 17. At the close of the sermon the sacrament of the Lord's Supper was administered. The services were conducted by the Rev. C.Rudolph Kuebler, D.D., who was assisted by the Rev. James S. Young, in the administration of the Bread; by the Rev. Henry T. Beatty, Ph.D., in the administration of the Cup, and by the following Ruling Elders: Willet H. C. Coles, Gavin Rowe, William E. Cox, H.
