James Bunker I (ca. 1628-1697/1698) immigrated in 1633/1634 from Slayton, Devonshire, England to Massachusetts, moving later to New Hampshire, and then settled in Kittery, Maine. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Minnesota, Utah, California and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to New Brunswick, and their progeny lived in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatche- wan, British Columbia and elsewhere in Canada. Includes Bunker genealogical data extracted from federal census records for Maine, 1850-1880, arranged by year, and thereafter (alphabetically) by county, town and name.
